Well day #2 of being home alone. Though today I'm starting to like it a bit. The cats are in heaven and are stretching across the floors loving not having to keep an eye out for a crawling little boy who likes to tackle them. I got a lovely email from Marybeth today telling me how much fun Jackson was having up north. Here it is:
"We exhaust your child! He took a nap (over an hour) about 9:30 then we went for a red wagon ride. He LOVED it! Smiled, smiled, and just looked and looked. Then we came back and I put the Pack 'n Play on the deck and he played in that. We also let him crawl on the deck, but he insisted on eating everything he saw. I fixed lunch and he sat outside in the highchair. We had mozzarella stick pieces, pasta (little meatballs and princess crowns) and he loved all of it. This morning he ate one scrambled egg, a whole piece of crustless toast, and just a few (very few) pieces of fresh peach. He's a chowhound.
Jackson is just loving being here with the girls and me, and taking everything in. He really likes being pushed around in the Little Tot (see pictures). Right after lunch I changed a very wet diaper, and put him down. He was out and actually snoring in less than a minute!
What a delightful child!"
She also sent the posted photos!
Anyway I will be up north tomorrow after work so I will enjoy my last night alone with a large glass of wine and a wonderful hour of Big Brother (pleeeeeeeeeeeeease don't evict Jeff!!)

Do the pictures make you miss him more?
